Assuming the engine will start, just start it and leave it run for a few minutes, this will stabilise the battery voltage enough to see if that is the issue. Seems unlikely to me - a wiring fault or failure of one of the actuators is more probable.

Nov 17, 2017 · I just got a C4 picasso diesel 1.6 from a trusted source the car has been with them since new and it has never had a problem. Not sure if it is "grand" or not. The car had a major service by citroen just a couple of weeks ago, filled it up this morning from sainsbury's full tank fill up 45 litres (nothing unusual there) it then drove to work

Apr 25, 2014 · Sorry about the late reply. Our problem in the end was down to the flywheel and the clutch, we ended up with a bill of £1100. It could have been worst since we were also told the actuator needed replacing. It turned out the flywheel was in such a bad condition that was messing with the actuator.

There's 3 x M8 capscrews securing the starter. No 1 is accessed from below the car (requires removal of the vacuum box thing). No 2 is accessed from above the gearbox and the head of the capscrew is hidden below the diesel filter. This fastener screws into a tapped thread in the starter motor body. Requires removal of the battery tray to access.
